Joachim Roeser (56) - Non-Executive Chairman

Joachim is the CEO of the Amber Chemical Group, a global specialty silicone producer owned by Caledonia Investments. Born in Germany he has lived and worked in Belgium, France and Germany, as well as in the UK. Previously, he was President and CEO of Luzenac, a Rio Tinto subsidiary and the leading talc mining producer in the world, for five years. Prior to that, Joachim was President of Ferro Corporation. He started his career thirty years ago in the emulsifier and starch industry before joining Arco Chemical in 1983, where he held a number of senior management positions, ultimately serving as Global Business Director, Styrene for two years. Joachim earned his BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wuppertal. He is also a non-Executive Director of Innospec Inc., a global specialty chemical company listed on NASDAQ in New York.

Larry Viner (61) - Non-Executive Director

Larry is currently a director of the Museum of Advertising and The Advertising Archives picture library. He ran the "Unitex" group of companies for over thirty years, which had extensive interests in retail shops, manufacturing and property. He is one of Britain’s leading authorities on 20th Century ephemera, and as such, acts as an advisor to clients of Christie’s and Sotheby’s auction houses. He has appeared frequently on radio and television, and is an active member of the NUJ. A former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and for a number of years a regular presenter of children’s television programmes, he is also a member of BAFTA.

Piers Daniell (28) - Managing Director

Piers is Fluidata’s Managing Director and a young entrepreneur whose business interests started at 15 when he formed his first company. His main focus is to develop the long-term growth strategy for the company. He is also directly involved with the sales and marketing segment of the business, having spent a number of years at Softcat during its rapid growth period. He developed the concept of Fluidata in 2004 after it became apparent that there were market opportunities for custom-made connectivity services. Chris Rogers (27) - Operations Director

Chris is Fluidata’s Operations Director, responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the network operations, research and development, provisioning and customer services departments. He has been instrumental in the company’s dramatic expansion and move to London, having joined the company in its early stages in 2004 to help develop the business and direct the roll-out of its new cutting-edge network. Chris, who has a BSc in Psychology from University College London, worked in the leisure industry before joining Piers in developing Fluidata.

Nigel Sanders (40) - Finance Director

Nigel is Fluidata’s Finance Director and is responsible for overseeing the finance function. Joining the company during rapid growth required good financial planning and cash flow management, ensuring that the company is in a healthy position for the future. Also ensuring new systems continue to offer excellent service to customers. Nigel has a bachelor of commerce degree and has worked for Redbull, Bulldog and Cable & Wireless Access in the UK following relocation from Zimbabwe. He brings with him a wide range and in-depth knowledge of finance to the board.
